The legendary guitarist, Aníbal Arias (Argentina) (1922-2010), was educated in classical music, but chose to specialise in tango music. In addition to his soloist performances he has accompanied a number of prominent singers such as Héctor Mauré and performed with other well respected musicians such Aníbal Triolo and Osvaldo Montes.

In his album “Una Guitar Para Gardel” he plays beautiful pure guitar arrangements of songs historically recorded by Garlos Gardel. His warm, sensitive yet dramatic interpretations give the music an intimate air.
