Carlos Di Sarli
Carlos Di Sarli (1903-1960) was an Argentine tango musician, orchestra leader and composer. A talented pianist, he was nicknamed “El Señor Del Tango” due to his reputation for playing elegant music and the recordings by his orchestra are still among the most popular music played at milongas.
The above tune “Bahía Blanca” (named after the town in which he was born) is the first track on the best selling compilation of Carlos Di Sarli’s popular tangos – RCA 100 Años
